Yvonne van Vlerken finishes 2nd in Kona!

Skinfit athlete Yvonne van Vlerken finished 2nd at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. The entire Skinfit USA team would like to congratulate Yvonne on this outstanding achievement. Yvonne prepared herself for the race in our backyard at Lake Tahoe (CA) and it looks like all the hard work at altitude paid off.

Yvonne:
"The 2nd place finish in this world-class field was a lot of hard work. It is definitely the most important result of my career. My Ironman worldrecord earlier this year was a step in the right direction, but you cannot call yourself a complete longdistance triathlete until you have proven yourself in Kona!"

Skinfit in full-effect at the Xterra World Championships

Skinfit was in full-effect at the Xterra World Championships this weekend in Maui! Julie Dibens won the women's race and was crowned Xterra World Champion for the second year in a row...she was wearing a blue Skinfit speedsuit! The speedsuit helped her fly through the water and stay cool during the hot temperatures.
On the men's side, the 2nd place man was wearing skinfit tri shorts and the 12th place man was wearing our "mamba" speedsuit!
Not a bad day for Skinfit on US soil!
You too can wear what the pros were wearing by visiting our webshop at www.skinfit.eu, click on the USA tab.

Two Skinfit professional athletes, Victor Plata and Reto Waeffler competed in the 3rd event of the tri-california series yesterday at Lopez Lake in San Luis Obispo. Victor was 3rd and Reto was 8th...two Skinfit athletes in the top 10!

-Reto showing great form as he tears up one of the many hills on the course

-Victor is all smiles as he nears the finish-line

We also had representation from the Monterey Bay Multi-Sport team...it is great to see the young guns in the sport getting after it!
